A plan was to move the project forward with the finalised team members.. I have created a few mindmaps of potential projects. The purpose is to show our planning skills being developed to work professionally. In the end, I felt like having creating a business that provide Stream Overlays was a better option that would fit into all of our skillsets and it’s a great way to hone our design skills further. We had another idea, like a game made using Unity or Unreal, but neither of us knew or enjoy coding.
Seb has created a Trello Board for the assets we will need to create for the business while I thought about something where all of us can contribute without abandoning our roles and overall purpose of the module. There is a useful plugin on WordPress that allows us to collectively collaborate on a single Elementor page and place all of our own original designs into it to make a stand-out business page. (WPDeveloper, 2022a). We also used a template as a placeholder site (WPDeveloper, 2022b).
Figuring out how to insert the template into the Elementor page and how to update it was vital for when the project starts, so each member can contribute to the plugin. (Templately and WPDeveloper et al, 2022, WPDeveloper, 2021).
In addition, we have also created a Discord to communicate with each other.
We proposed having the overall project finished by late April or very early May would be sufficient to spend the next few weeks leading up to the deadline working on the video and any other things required to finish the module. This is to eliminate the stress of procrastinating by any group members.
